British Dragoon pistol with the lock signed Tower and engraved with the crown of King George III and the letters GR which stands for George Rex. The wonderful thing about this pistol is the fact that it can be demonstrated on its face that it was in use during the last years of the American Revolutionary War as evidenced by the 1780 date at the rear of the lock
