A truly rare and scarce configuration of a double barreled 14 gauge shotgun with a flip bayonet. The example is signed
”G & J Deane” on the lock who are George and John Deane who were the original makers of the iconic Adams Revolver in 1851. The barrels are 17 1/2 inches long and the write has fine checkering. there is a silver escutcheon at the wrist. Both hammers and the flip bayonet are mechanically fine.
