Turn off barrel Flintlock (PROBLEM SOLVED!!!)

Turn off barrel Flintlock (PROBLEM SOLVED!!!)

0.00

Hill & Knubly, London are the makers of this unique 18th Century screw barrel flintlock. The problem with turn off barrels which began with the Queen Anne examples is the potential loss of the barrel when it is unscrewed for loading. If you dropped it off the horse or in the ocean then the pistol is useless. Problem solved here. As you can see from the photos the hole in the handle is designed as a fitted receptacle for the barrel during the loading process. UNIQUE
